⭕ This is a VERY RARE Vintage circa 1930s - 40s Shipyard Builders Concept Model of an Art Deco Ocean Liner...It has a very unique provenance as it was designed by Norman Bel Geddes as a ship to be built by and named for Henry J Kaiser as the SS Henry J Kaiser and it is very similar to the 1932 Bel Geddes Whale Liner ship design...This model is LARGE measuring overall 60 inches long on the steel base, with a heavy wooden hull measuring 55 inches long...It has wood, metal, and plastic construction including clear windows that are illuminated via a light inside...Its design is very modern and it really looks great...It is in good condition with some crackling to the paint mainly on the elegantly curved stern area...Paint is very secure...Overall what you have here is a very beautiful and unusual antique designer and ship builder model with a provenance that places it in a very unique place in design, nautical, history...Certainly a collector centerpiece.
