⭕ Turbo Offenhauser/Offy Indy Racing Engine: 36 degree split block. 95%+ complete --- Purchased several years ago from a CA land speed racing team. The bottom end was assembled but the top end was partially disassembled when I purchased it. There was a small weld in between the two exhaust ports on #3 cylinder. He said the damage happened on the dyno but I wasnt able to confirm. Valves and springs had been removed from the #3 cylinder, the weld was hand machined down and new seats were placed in it (but not finish cut). Engine has original offy rods, early style offy crankshaft (one with bolt on counter weights), small bore domed pistons (missing one piston). It appears this was one of the early turbo offys where they used much thicker sleeves/smaller bores to reduce the displacement for turbocharging. One sleeve was removed from the block for the seat area repair but a brand new replacement sleeve from LA Sleeve is included. Most of the internal engine items such as valves, guides, lifter buckets, retainers, seals, springs that can be used to complete are included. All front internal gearing, water pump, covers, water manifolds included. Original Hilborn side straight turbo intake manifold (minus butterflies & barrel valve) as well as an original Hilborn turbo exhaust manifold is included.
