Based on a new Borg-Warner/ Tremec T-5 Aluminium gearbox, already time proven in top performance applications by Ford, Cosworth, Chevrolet, Pontiac and TVR.
This is the only kit that you can purchase made to directly bolt up to your original bell-housing, with drive-plate, Jaguar 3mm speedo take-off and correct XK-Jaguar, chromed gear stick which also includes the classic design XK gear knob inscribed with the 5-Speed.
It will fit into XK120 / XK140 / XK150 and Mk7/8/9/ Mk2s etc with the appropriate adaptors. It has all the bits you will ever need and is not one of the cheap kits that are lacking fittings, speedo drives, cables and in some cases half of the gear-stick!!!! Many suppliers tell you your (imperial) drive plate will fit a BMW metric or USA spec Mustang spline, but beware, both of these splines are close, but do in fact differ and it will become apparent after a few thousand miles.
