It has an extra-long 88 bed for better work support and is equipped with a fence that tilts in and out with stops at 45 and 90 degrees. A non-mar insert in the fence contacts the table to avoid scratching the surface during adjustments. Jointer is less than 17 months old. The parallelogram design keeps the table in close by the cutter head for improved finish and allows for a fast depth of cut adjustment. This design also insures the table remains perfectly parallel, even after years of use. The IJ-1288P has a 1/8 maximum depth of cut with its 4 diameter cutter head that spins at 5000rpm.
