⭕ This VCS3 is completely original with a couple of modern, component level repairs, 3 caps and 5 transistors replaced since I have owned it (8 years). It has ONE strange anomaly- there are 4 small holes, neatly drilled in the left side bottom panel of the Synth. These were for an interface with another system many years ago. Not unsightly, but not original. The knobs, switches and controls are all in excellent shape, all indicator light function. There are no stability mods etc., as are popular these days, but it works very well and the oscillators track the VC input very well for its early design. The sequencer is very easy to use and I find it much more friendly to manipulate than the one in our Synthi AKS.

I have two new roadcases built for all of the 3 piece on offer here. The synth goes in one, the keyboard and sequencer go in the other in tray style cases. Very handy, very robust and NEW. 600.00 for both. All cables and pins are included. NO documentation included.

It generates familiar sci-fi sounds (Dr. Who) and other truly analog sounds. Unfortunately, the oscillators tend to drift out of tune. Theres a Noise Generator, 2 Input Amplifiers, 1 Ring Modulator, 1 Voltage Controlled Low Pass Filter (VCF), 1 Trapezoid Envelope Generator, Joy-Stick Controller, Voltage Controlled Spring Reverb unit and 2 Stereo Output Amplifiers.
