Exceptionally clean and well cared for, the guitar is in pristine condition, with original tweed case and hang tag with matching serial number. Although the guitar has light player wear, it is otherwise pristine.The lacquer features only light checking, and very little discoloration.The frets have light wear and there is some buckle wear and some player wear on the edges of the body. All nickel and chrome parts are bright and shiny, including original ash tray pickup cover.The pots, caps, and switch are absolutely clean and perfect.The solder joints are 100% original and cover the pot codes.The pots are certainly 100% original as is every single part on this guitar including all screws. The back of the neck is perfect, there is no wear through on the lacquer and it is still as bright and shiny as when new. The neck date is 6/57 and the body date is 5/57.The body is one piece Ash.The guitar is perfectly balanced and weighs 7 lb. 6 oz., close to perfect weight for a Tele or EsquireThe serial number is 21XXX and the guitar comes with matching number original hang tag as mentioned.
