Probably the BEST HORN EVER MADE by BUESCHER AND ARGUABLY ONE OF THE BEST OF ANY BRAND. THIS ONE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. WITH THE ORIGINAL CASE, ORIGINAL LACQUER ABOUT 95-97%, NO DENTS, NO DEEP SCRATCHES, NOT MISTREATED IN ANY WAY. HAS NOT BEEN OUT IN WEATHER IN PAST 40 YEARS. THIS BIG BELL BEAUTY OFFERS A deep sound others only wish they could emulate. MADE in 1947.

CHECK OUT THE ENGRAVING. FOR ANYONE WHO HASNT SEEN ONE OF THESE CLOSE UP, THE ENGRAVING IS A MASTERPIECE OF CRAFTSMANSHIP. IT SHOWS A WATERFALL, A CASTLE AND LANDSCAPE SCENE AND LOTS OF OTHER EXTENSIVE SCROLLING AND THE FAMOUS TOP HAT & CANE WITH GLOVES.

HAS THE UNDERSLUNG NECK and the silver plated ring under bell flange. HAS SILVER LOOP FOR NECKSTRAP ATTACHMENT AND SILVER LOWER THUMB REST. Also has mother of pearl finger touches. Pads look excellent, has been played maybe 40-50 times since complete overhaul including repad. Neck cork replaced within past 6 months.



Body is beautiful. Body is in excellent condition. NO typical dent on bottom or anywhere else. All mechanically good, fit snug, function well.

Keys all in good functioning condition and good appearance. All mechanical parts work well and no parts broken or missing. This is a beauty. It includes what I believe is the original case. Body & interior as well as hinges & handle in very nice condition. Ribbing on ends is frayed. interior is a green crushed velvet type. Very solid and will probably last another 60-80 years if kept up.


CASE HAS storage area for neck, cleaning supplies etc., Kept only in house never been in weather. Sax includes a PLASTIC PLUG insert to protect the top of sax where neck inserts. This is a real choice piece. you wont find many in this condition.
