This has, hands down, the best craftsmanship you will ever find on a Les Paul. Over the course of the three years these were in production, only 77 were made. 59 of those were in natural finish, and only 18 total in wine red finish, making this an amazing find. This is still in unplayed condition with the original protector chainsaw case and the original Gibson paperwork included. This is number 66 out of 77 total. The last 11 they made were natural finish, meaning this was the absolute last The Les Paul made in wine red finish.


This boasts a carved flamed maple top, maple back, all rosewood plates, rosewood pickguard and knobs, rosewood outer bindings, red-stained inner bindings, gold-plated hardware, ebony-rosewood-ebony fingerboard, abalone block inlays, pearl button tuners, pearl plate on back of headstock with limited edition number, and 2 super humbucking pickups. This is quite possibly the most impressive Les Paul youll ever come across. The back of the headstock is stamped second and I honestly could not tell you why, nor did Gibson ever say why anything they stamped second.
