⭕ Ford Holman Moody NOS Boss 494 Can Am Mechanical Injection Intake

Super Rare, 1 of only 6 known to have ever been made!

Developed by Holman & Moody for the Can Am Boss 494

Intake went on the All Aluminum Boss 494 Engine

Intake has Ford experimental and Holman Moody Casting Numbers


Super are Boss 429/494 Can Am mechanical injection intake manifold. This intake has never been run, only bolted on my uncles Boss 429 engine as it sat in the garage. He bought it from a gentleman who got it from the Holman and Moody Garage back in 1971 for his Boss 429 Race car. This guy was also a Nascar driver in the early 1970s, and was even a rookie of the year. If you put this intake on a Boss 429, you will be in a league of your own. Sure some Boss 429s have injection intakes, but very few (no more than 6 in the world) have an original Boss 494 Can Am Injection Intake manifold with original part numbers.

This intake will fit a standard BOSS 429 engine. Holman Moody produced the intake to be put on the Can Am BOSS 494 race cars back in 1969. Mario Andretti Drove a Can Am BOSS 494 car with this same injection intake.
