⭕ THIS IWC MARK XI PILOTS WATCH WAS PURCHASED FROM GARRARDS LONDON IN 1954

I purchased watch in early 2012 from Promenade Antiques Cheltenham.

To add interest previously owned by: John Cochrane (26 August 1930 - 4 November 2006) british test pilot for the Anglo-French supersonic airliner, Concorde, either in command or as deputy chief pilot to Brian Trubshaw.

Watch purchased by Promenade from his widow, sent back to IWC to be refurbished.

I have from; IWC; repair warranty dated 22/07/2011 Extract from there ledger confirming work done, date of sale 2/9/54 Garrards London. (They hold no record of first purchaser) 2 felt cases, 2 boxes.

Promenade confirmation letter regarding there sale to me and purchase from Mrs Cochane, 5 pages of his career which is of great interest and on the internet there is considerably more.

Watch in excellent 9/10 condition with only light scratches to glass and case.
