Lowther TP1 Speakers


⭕ Beautiful matching pair of vintage Lowther TP1D for sale only due to planned move to smaller accommodation.

These have been back to Lowther less than 2 years ago for full refurbishment (receipt supplied) which included stripping, re-plating, re-magnetising, new cones with straight edged tweeters, new door knob centre pieces, and gold plated terminals. Impedance is set at 8 ohms to match a wide range of amplifiers. These are still not fully run in but are sounding superb, dynamic, transparent and with surprisingly deep bass.
The cabinets have matching veneers and the drive unit serial numbers are very close (see labels). The original grill cloths and badges are present in excellent condition as are the speaker tops which were professionally re-polished some time ago.
