⭕ For sale is my trusty Roland Fantom X8 workstation.

This was Rolands flagship synth 13 years ago. Its a sampler, synthesizer, arpeggiator, drum machine and 16-track MIDI sequencer all in one box. The Audio Track Expansion (installed) also gives you 8 audio tracks!

I have owned it since August 2014 and have never gigged it, although the previous owner did, hence the minor rash on the metal in places. It has been used in a smoke-free home studio. As I also have a Fantom X7, the X8 has been sitting in its flight case since March this year so it is time for it to find a new home. It is fully working.

The sample RAM has been maxxed out (512Mb + internal 32Mb = 544Mb) and the keyboard comes with a flight case and power lead but it does NOT come with any SRX sound expansion cards or CF storage cards. I will, however, provide you with a free CF-to-PCMCIA adapter. You can pick up CF cards for about a fiver on eBay. Loading samples on this machine isnt fast but, if you have the patience to wait for them to load when you power it up, you can have a massive collection of sounds to play with once loaded. Because of its weight (keyboard 30kg and case 16kg - I can no longer lift it because of back problems) and my stupid working hours, I cannot post it but you may come and pick it up from postcode LU6 3RS, or you can arrange for your own courier to come and pick it up from the same location (evenings after 6pm or weekends ONLY) by prior arrangement.
