⭕ Up for sale here is my beautiful Neumann U67 tube microphone, offered as a complete set in excellent condition, including the original IC-9 swivelmount cable, Neumann Z-48 shockmount, original microphone case with matching serial number and Neumann NU67u power supply.

The microphone itself is in near mint condition and has clearly seen only careful and minimal use since original purchase in 1965. The headgrille is immaculate, with no indentations or scratches and the body tube has only one very slight patch of wear in the finish, on the front above the Neumann badge. I have tried to show this in the photos, but it is so superficial that it is hard to see clearly except in certain angles of the light. The mic case is also in near mint condition and is original to the microphone, bearing the same serial number on the Neumann badge.

Functionally, the microphone is in perfect health and sounds gorgeous. The original capsule was replaced before I purchased the mic and the pictures show it is in mint condition. It will therefore be a long time before this requires any service. To my knowledge this is the only work to have been carried out on the mic, which is completely unmodified and otherwise completely original.

The power supply is the US version Neumann NU67u with XLR output connector, offering greater convenience over the European Tuchel type. The original waffle iron mains connector has been replaced with an IEC standard 3-pin and the power supply is adjusted for the optimum filament voltage and should not be in need of readjustment any time soon.

The Neumann Z-48 shockmount is tight-fitting with the original lambswool strips in place to protect the mic and the IC-9 swivelmount cable is also in excellent condition complete with the rubber compression ring inside the connector for a firm fitting once screwed into place.

In summary, this is a complete vintage U67 set with all of its parts and accessories in excellent condition and a highly desirable example of this classic microphone. You would be hard pushed to find a better one anywhere and you can be assured that it will be packed extremely well for fully insured delivery upon receipt of cleared funds.
