LOUIS VUITTON BOOTSHOE STEAMER TRUNKCASE


⭕ This Authentic Louis Vuitton Steamer Boot/Shoe Trunk is circa 1910. It measures 26 L x 13 H x 12 1/2 W. This Louis Vuitton design is rare and unusual and it comes with a custom ordered canvas cover. How cool is that!

The exterior has the orange vuittonite canvas with normal vintage wear from travel and age...which is not objectionable to most. The signed lock (no key) # 0225XX, latches, rivets and handle are intact and strong. The leather trim is in nice condition and is a great contrast against the orange vuittonite canvas. The canvas cover is complete with a handle, snaps and leather straps...and was a special order for the trunk to protect it... as best it could... from traveling. The cover does have expected wear and tear, but this only adds to its great style and character.

The interior is lined in vuittonite and red felt... in nice condition and holds 6 pair of boots. There are 2 felt lift out trays each with a removable divider... the bottom also is felt lined with a divider. It still retains the Louis Vuitton Label and Serial # 1511XX.

This handsome Louis Vuitton Boot/Shoe Trunk is seldom seen and quite rare. It would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
